Modernize and Strengthen America’s Power Grid
We must expand and modernize our energy infrastructure. Private investment in the grid—including thousands of farmers and rural co-ops—will strengthen Midwestern industries, create jobs, and lower costs for families. An all-of-the-above energy approach ensures affordable, reliable power and levels the playing field for small farmers and working families.
Keep Energy Investment in the Heartland
The Midwest powers America. Policies should keep federal and private energy investments in the same heartland communities that sustain the industry. Reinvesting locally strengthens farmers, infrastructure, and small towns. As crop prices fall and costs rise, directing private capital to rural areas improves affordability and resilience for families and industries alike.

Family farms are the backbone of America, yet too often sidelined and left out of major market opportunities. Farmers for a Fair Deal works to ensure small producers receive their fair share through thoughtful policy, fair competition, and expanded access to growing markets.
