Keep E15 Working (Full Time!) for Farmers, Families, and Rural Communities
Year-round E15 means lower fuel costs, stronger markets for corn, and more American-made energy.
FILL OUT THE FORM to join farmers, working families, fuel retailers, and rural communities calling on Congress to finish the job and make year-round E15 the law nationwide.
Why year-round E15 matters
1. Lower prices at the pump
E15, also known as Unleaded 88, gives drivers a lower-cost fuel option that helps stretch every dollar.
2. More demand for American corn
Expanding E15 creates new markets for family farmers while keeping more energy dollars here at home.
3. Stronger rural economies
Greater corn demand supports biofuel jobs, local businesses, rural communities, and long-term economic growth.
4. More American energy security
Made with homegrown renewable fuel, E15 helps reduce foreign oil dependence and strengthen U.S. energy.
5. Consumer choice, not a mandate
Year-round E15 simply gives drivers another fuel option while allowing retailers to sell it year-round.
The Summer Ban: Under the Clean Air Act, due to older volatility standards aimed at limiting fuel evaporation during extreme summer heat, the sale of E15 is typically prohibited in most of the United States from June 1 to September 15. Gas stations currently rely on short-term, unpredictable, temporary EPA fuel waivers or emergency declarations. Achieving year-round E15 would mean either granting E15 the same permanent, 1.0-psi vapor pressure waiver that standard E10 (10% ethanol) enjoys, which the EPA does not currently have the authority to do, or passing permanent legislation.
It’s time for the Senate to act
Congress has already taken important action. The U.S. House passed year-round E15 legislation in May 2026, and the bill now awaits Senate action.
Farmers and rural communities need certainty. Fuel retailers need clear rules. Drivers need lower-cost options. Congress should pass a permanent, nationwide, year-round E15 solution and send it to the President’s desk.
