Farmers For a Fair Deal Statement on New IRS Guidance for the 45Z Clean Fuel Production Credit

St. Paul, Minn.—September 10th, 2026— Farmers For a Fair Deal issued the following statement after the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) released new guidance (Notice 2026-53) on the Section 45Z Clean Fuel Production Credit, including updated emissions rate tables and rules for crediting farm-level practices.
